Your New Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Design, we are looking for an experienced Motion Designer with a flair for animation and strong design and typography skills to primarily work on creative briefs for TNT Sports from concept through to execution and delivery.

You will develop and implement channel and programme identities, title sequences, promo and on-air graphics, studio branding and platform imagery. You are comfortable following brand guidelines and presenting design ideas that are fresh, strategic yet always on brand.

Role Accountabilities
• Assisting with pitching, creating and delivering projects across TNT Sports and WBD Sports wider portfolio of channels.
• Supporting Senior Manager Design to deliver world class creative and implement design strategy across the channels and platform.
• Facilitating the production and delivery of creative design elements for the WBD Sports channels, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, editorial compliance and deadlines met.
• Assisting with the management and mentoring of junior and freelance designers.
• Working closely with production teams and Creative Producers to create dynamic, visually memorable promotional campaigns and programme content design.
• Liaising with third parties to ensure deliverables are on brand and produced to a high standard.
• Playing an active role in brainstorming and idea generation to conceptualise outstanding, innovative solutions to project challenges and creative briefs.
• Generating useful, usable ideas across all existing and emerging digital platforms.

Skills & Experience
• A cracking portfolio and showreel demonstrating motion and design excellence
• Proven experience in graphic/motion design roles, ideally in Broadcast, with a knowledge of graphics systems and workflows.
• Highly proficient within the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator) and a good working knowledge of Cinema 4D
• A hands-on approach to work
• A fast, eager learner who is enthusiastic, self-reliant, with the ability to work effectively in a team or alone when necessary
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Awareness of the latest creative technology/software and current design trends
• Supports a collaborative 'One Team' approach
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A passion and understanding of sport
