FILMBANKMEDIA PROFILE

Filmbankmedia is a leader in non-theatrical film distribution, representing many major Hollywood, Bollywood, and independent film studios (including Warner Bros. Discovery, Sony Pictures, Disney, 20th Century Studios, Universal, Paramount, Lionsgate and many more) in over 80 international territories.

Filmbankmedia provides licensing for film screenings that take place outside of the cinema and home in environments such as outdoor screenings, community cinemas, film clubs, hotels, hospitals, coaches, trains, schools, pubs, bars, care homes, and more.

Filmbankmedia operates in the UK and internationally. It is based in London but has new business representatives based in the LATAM and SEA regions.

The Filmbankmedia Marketing Team comprises the Marketing Director and two Senior Marketing Managers. It oversees all the Marketing for the company including:
• The development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans to license the studios' content, as well as selling Filmbankmedia's technology products and services.
• Providing marketing expertise and support to Sales Teams across all sectors and regions.
• Working closely with clients across all sectors on the deployment of their marketing campaigns.

Purpose of the Job

The Marketing Executive role provides essential support to the Senior Marketing Managers by assisting in the execution of a variety of Marketing activities across multiple sectors and regions. This role focuses on carrying out specific delegated tasks in content creation, campaign execution, event support, and administrative duties, ensuring high-quality deliverables while working collaboratively with the broader Marketing Team.

Specifically, the successful candidate will be required to:
• Assist with creating and sending newsletters: under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Managers, create newsletters' content for several market sectors and regions including copywriting, gathering film/TV show imagery and graphics, and managing translation with the agency. Approx. 3 to 4 newsletters per month.
• Provide support with new website launch and current site maintenance: the Marketing Team is preparing to launch a new website, alongside managing 13 existing international microsites. The Marketing Executive will provide important support by inputting content to the new CMS, assisting with formatting, finalising the Style Guide, and performing any additional tasks required to ensure a smooth and successful launch. Ongoing responsibilities will include refreshing current sites by updating hero banners, film carousels, and any other content updates as directed by the Senior Marketing Manager.
• Digital TV brochures refresh/creation: assist with creating and maintaining several sales content brochures hosted on Canva. Work with the Sales Team to ensure requirements are met, liaise with studios to gather TV show/film assets, and create new or update existing brochures.
• Social media: with the Senior Marketing Managers' supervision, update the social media content calendar and draft and prepare social posts to promote content releases, promotions, partnerships, events, products, case studies, and any other marketing/sales initiatives in line with the approved content calendar.
• Sales support: support the Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Manager in the implementation of lead generation campaigns including the creation of organic & paid social content, and sales collateral (presentations, promo videos, one-sheets etc).
• Events: provide event support under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Managers including creating print & digital collateral, gathering, and shipping material, setting up and packing down stands or booths as needed, and occasionally assisting at events.
• Clients' requests and campaigns: assist in gathering and delivering any film material requested by the clients.
• General & admin support:
• Liaise with the studios/rights holders to obtain any film/TV show assets needed for collateral/website.
• Update mailing lists.
• Perform data entry for reporting and performance analysis.

SKILLS REQUIRED

The successful candidate will display the following skills:
• A passion for film and TV content. A Film Studies or English degree an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure that deliverables are of the highest standard, with content that is proofread and free of errors.
• Medium level of design skills with experience in creating social posts, brochures, and other collateral using Canva, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. A large part of the role requires visual content creation. Design experience is essential. Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro software and other video editors is a plus.
• Copywriting skills necessary for social media posts, newsletters, and other sales/marketing collateral.
• Website experience using CMS (WordPress an advantage).
• Computer literacy, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (essential).
• Ability to learn new marketing tools as required by the business.
• Flexibility, with the ability to manage varying tasks and different deadlines simultaneously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
• A keen interest in and understanding of marketing.
• Strong written and communication skills. Professional and presentable; able to speak confidently to customers and partners both in person, via telephone, and through email.
• Effective interpersonal skills, a strong team player, with the ability to work with people at different levels within and outside the organisation.
• Good time-management skills, with the ability to deal with a number of projects simultaneously without missing deadlines.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
