Your New Role:

Global Privacy Services is a centralized team of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers, product and data teams to drive compliance across the entire enterprise. The team provides privacy services in O perations, Compliance ,
OneTrust Platform, Projects and Vendor Privacy.

The team is a part of Warner Bros Discovery Technology & Operations, sitting alongside core HR, Financial, Legal and Data systems as an enterprise service. Privacy needs run across the entire enterprise, and the team is set up to deliver globally. 

We are currently seeking a  Manager, Vendor Privacy to support the creation of a Vendor Privacy Program that will help the company better monitor and govern the personal information used in vendor relationships across the enterprise, as it's shared or transferred for diverse purposes including advertising, marketing, compliance, or internal initiatives.

Applicants to this role should expect to work collaboratively with privacy professionals, lawyers, procurement, information security, product and technology stakeholders on data-driven vendor governance and compliance initiatives across Warner Bros Discovery's business.

Y our Role Accountabilities:
• Create central views showing data use across vendors
• Create data maps and flows
• Classify vendors in line with data use cases
• Drive privacy compliant configuration of WBD solutions
• Communicate privacy standards and drive compliance with WBD's vendors
• Participate in diverse Vendor Privacy projects
• Manage Sr Analyst role and additional contingent resources as needed
• D etermin e service provider / 3 rd party designations
• Align vendor data use with cookie configuration
• Validate classifications with data provisions in contracts
• Analyze D igital T racker use across solutions
• D rive configuration of WBD solutions (web, mobile, connected device) in line with legal, vendor and platform requirements  
• Understand and articulate business and legal requirements for vendor tools  
• Support the completion of privacy risk assessments   where needed
• Support vendors and internal partners in achieving compliance
• Manage privacy onboarding process for new vendors
• Oversee and execute workstreams for large scale projects, including plan creation, stakeholder follow-up, status and issue resolution  
• Run effective workshops as needed to drive strategic decisions and alignment 

Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 + years professional experience in privacy data governance
• Privacy compliance experience, working with key regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc ). 
• Data analysis and mapping experience
• Knowledge of advertising industry standards, vendors and methodologies 
• Knowledge of data platforms / environments in the entertainment/telecom sectors 
• Advanced MS Office skills 
*This is a hybrid position. Reporting onsite 2-3 times per week is required.
