Manager, Setup & Special Projects (FCRA)
The Manager, Setup & Special Projects will work with the VP, Deal Management and Director, Deal Setup to review and approve Deal Setups and oversee, lend support, and ensure execution of various projects as defined by the FCRA Participations & Residuals group. This role will be responsible for ensuring Deal Setups are reviewed and approved accurately and timely, coordinating with various stakeholders, preparing project plans, assigning/overseeing tasks to applicable individuals, and gathering information and data as needed to provide value-added ideas and insight. Additionally, the role will be presenting summarized findings to upper management for deal setup status, project updates and risk assessments. As projects will vary and can be ad hoc, candidate will need to be able to adapt and be hands on to quickly understand all legacy systems and tools and pivot to new systems and processes.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Review and approve new participation deal setup and/or deal setup changes for deal compliance, accuracy and presentation.
• Manage different streams of work, including but not limited to: new deal setups for all groups, system template maintenance, deal setup change requests, on request statements, data reconciliation and analysis, and accessing/documenting current systems and processes to make recommendations. Work with management to setup priority and completion targets.
• Provides input on the development of system enhancements and robust testing on those enhancements.
• Develop new training materials, update and consolidate existing training materials, create work plans, track milestones, and identify/balance project resource needs.
• Identify risk factors and preemptively work with key stakeholders to mitigate potential setup/project roadblocks. Summarize issues and resolutions in order to present to the upper management.
• Perform or review ad hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
• Strong Project Management Skills (5+ years).
• Systems integration experience including, but not limited to, data conversion and interface design and development (5+ years).
• Business process and design analysis (5+ years).
• Managing people in a fast paced, results driven, team-oriented environment (3+ years).
• Direct experience with entertainment industry financial systems.
• Participations and/or Residuals experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Technology field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) preferred.
• Experience with Participations/Residuals applications (e.g., PARIS/Sylvester) preferred.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira Preferred.
• Highly proficient in MS Office / Microsoft 365 (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; must be an effective presenter.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Effective leadership skills and change management skills.
• Ability to pick up Participations/Residuals concepts and processes within a short time period and apply technical solutions.
• Ability to multi-task many ongoing assignments with strong organization and time management skills and work overtime, as needed.
• Must be able to work independently as needed and be resourceful in discovering solutions.
• Must be able to understand and communicate with operational, financial and IT personnel.
• Must be able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $72,100.00 - $133,900.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
