Job Description
Your New Role...

This position works alongside the Director on all television shows, movies of the week, webisodes, and theatrical plays.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Manage, supervise, and train administration staff
• Provide advice and guidance to various production companies as well as executives with respect to all matters related to insurance and risk management
• Identify and analyze production exposures and make recommendations for mitigating risk and negotiate coverage with insurance carriers and brokers
• Handle placement of various insurance policies including but not limited to the following: General Liability, Auto Liability, Umbrella Liability, Production Package, Accident and Health, Foreign Liability, Term Life Insurance, Failure to Survive, Disability, Watercraft, Errors and Omissions and Contingency policies
• Report and manage insurance claims, including making recommendations for avoiding and mitigating loss and negotiating coverage issues with insurance carriers
• Obtain cast insurance on key artists and negotiate exclusions
• Prepare and maintain monthly claim report
• Review contracts the with legal department for policy adherence and make insurance language recommendations
• Analyze hazardous activities while working closely with safety to ensure appropriate safety measures are in place for television productions
• Meet with productions prior to the start of filming to assess production exposures
• Advise and provide guidance to third party production service companies with respect to insurance related matters
• Assist in the negotiation as it relates to premiums, renewals, and modifications of insurance programs
• Process certificates of insurance and endorsements when necessary
• Manage aircraft, watercraft, railroad, and UAS/drone exposures

Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of insurance experience
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong technical knowledge of entertainment insurance coverage
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to problem solve and make reasonable judgements
• Ability to organize, prioritize task and meet objectives
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and multi-task

This position is required to work a hybrid in-person schedule at our Burbank, US office. Warner Bros. Discovery requires anyone working in our workplaces in the US to be vaccinated against COVID-19. In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $84,703.00 - $157,305.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
