GO-Tech (Global Operations Technologies) are part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Technology group and are responsible for the tech needed to run physical operations, globally. Their area of focus is around four main pillars:
• Tours & Retail
• Studio Operations
• Physical Security
• Global Real Estate

This role covers all areas of the GO-Tech portfolio, globally. Therefore, this covers stakeholders and sites in US, UK and Japan.

The Manager, Financial Reporting position is responsible for the overall technology project leadership and delivery of reporting solutions across all dimensions of the GO-Tech portfolio.

The role will provide Project/Program Management & Leadership, both for enhancement projects on existing reporting and data solutions, as well as on the implementation of new solutions related to reporting and data interfaces.

It is a hybrid hands-on Project, Business Analysis and development leadership role, providing management and delivery support to the Project Team resources within the GO-Tech Financial Reporting team. The role requires excellent Business-partner Relationship Management skills, as well as a good understanding of application infrastructure, key business performance metrics and system integrations.

The role achieves goals by direct management of the Project Delivery team, including WBD employees, independent contractors, on- & off- shore support partners, vendors, and all types of external technology resources. Collaboration with other WBD Technology groups and business unit resources is essential.

This role is also responsible to mentor and train project personnel, such as Project Managers, Reporting Business Analysts and Reporting Developers, in-line with best practices, project requirements and WBD processes.

Experience in Point of Sale, Warehouse/Inventory Management, eCommerce, Ticketing, Salesforce and Business Intelligence applications is highly desirable; as is experience in operating within PCI landscapes.

Available to work flexible hours to accommodate offshore collaboration, as well as responding during off-hours to lead resolution of critical project related issues is expected.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Lead point person for all reporting and data related project work within the GO-Tech portfolio
• Responsible for understanding business processes & requirements in-depth and effectively apply them to appropriate application and technical solutions, through the successful delivery of projects
• Working alongside the Technical Support Operations Manager, responsible to design and deliver new applications, enhancements to existing apps, and reporting capabilities, in-line with Business needs & global technology strategy
• Responsible to provide expert level project support to all reporting projects and activities across the portfolio
• Responsible for BU enhancement & project communications [incl. pre- & post- Go-Live]
• Responsible for BU stakeholder management throughout project phases
• Responsible to ensure successful cutover & roll-back for all enhancement & project implementations
• Responsible for transitioning new apps onto the Technical Support Operations team, following stabilization phase
• Travel to the varying portfolio locations in London and Greater London will be part of the role
• Travel outside of the UK will also be required, but limited to Project needs

Qualifications & Experience...
• 8+ years of experience in managing technology project delivery of a large and diverse portfolio -- required
• 6+ years of experience providing project leadership and partnership to business stakeholders -- required
• 5+ years of experience managing full application lifecycle -- required
• 4+ years of experience in complex systems integrations to financial and other systems -- strongly preferred
• experience with delivering Projects within stringent PCI environments -- required
• experience working on projects with satellite project resources &/or vendors, across multiple time zones -- strongly preferred
• experience with systems that support high volume functions within Point of Sale, eCommerce, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Salesforce -- strongly preferred
• experience working within a high-paced customer-facing environment or Entertainment Industry -- preferred
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar -- required
• Post-Graduate degree -- desirable
• PM Diplomas / Certifications -- required
• BA Diplomas / Certifications -- highly desirable
• Consults on business systems technology and processes to achieve collective understanding among colleagues and establish improvement objectives that align with department strategies
• Leads the execution of business process improvement objectives
• Oversees in-depth Business Process & Gap Analysis in preparation for Project formation
• Identifies improvement opportunities

• Provides project leadership to full Project Delivery Division
• Provides input on performance and competency of individual team members
• Accountable for consolidating work effort estimates and timelines for projects and enhancement work
• Manages business partner and Management expectations
• Prepares, and/or directs preparation of, regular and ad-hoc reports status for end user and/or management
• Maintains understanding of changing business needs and the subsequent impact on process or technology
