Your New Role
As the Creative Manager for Sports, you will be part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Creative Services team in Argentina, playing a key role in all our communication and brand strategy for our sports platforms in the region. You will lead a team responsible for generating innovative and engaging content, from marketing campaigns to on-air promotions. This position requires a highly creative and motivated individual with experience in team leadership, content production, and project coordination in a high-pressure environment.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Work in collaboration with the marketing and production teams to develop concepts and content with creative excellence focused on sports.
- Create and execute strategic concepts for 360-degree marketing campaigns that are effective across linear channels and digital platforms.
- Maintain fluid and constant communication with the internal creative team and other departments in the company.
- Supervise and lead a team composed of preditors, copywriters, and editors focused on sports content.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technology in the sports industry.
- Work in collaboration with the design and operations teams to ensure an efficient way of work.
- Manage projects within assigned budgets.
- Manage relationships with external design agencies, freelancers, and other partners, ensuring their work aligns with our brand guidelines and meets quality standards.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company's creative vision, both internally and externally, promoting our brand's identity and creative excellence within the industry.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in communications, marketing, advertising or a related field.
- At least 5 years in a leadership position in a multimedia company or an advertising agency.
- Proven track record of conceptualizing and leading successful marketing campaigns that have had a significant impact on brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Extensive knowledge of multimedia content creation and video production, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve shared creative objectives.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen, capable of aligning creative initiatives with broader organizational goals and market trends.
- Creative visionary with the ability to translate ideas into compelling and marketable concepts that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Passion for sports and understanding sports culture.
