Your New Role
The Manager of Content FP&A will oversee and facilitate all WBD Content Cash Flow in close collaboration with Business Unit Finance Teams across Studios, Streaming and Networks
Your Role Accountabilities
• Manage all Content FP&A Processes and Modeling including Monthly Forecasting, Pacing, and Close through consolidated schedules that reflect content cash across WBD Studios, Streaming, and Networks.
• Lead all communication with WBD Production Finance teams for all Original Productions and Acquired Content Cash Spend to identify key drivers, cause of change analysis, and R&O Schedules. Communication includes regular check-ins in support of weekly Content Cash updates to the CFO.
• POC for all Content COE, Internal Audit, Corporate Tax, Controllership, FCF, and Treasury requests for all cash reporting requests needs including by title detail, historical flux analysis, and B/S Inventory Roll Forward.
• Support Long Range Planning process including collaborating with central finance teams, developing WBD materials / templates for distribution and efficiency, and supporting teams by way of providing current and past forecast / target details.
• Lead automation of ongoing cash forecast reporting project by partnering with data analytics teams to find efficiencies and enhance end-to-end forecasting; Support process documentation project by partnering with internal audit team to document end-to-end monthly close process and address pain points / current potential efficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5-7 Years of Finance/Accounting Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or quantitative field
• CPA not required, but strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and manage financial models
• Experience with data visualization (i.e. Power BI/Tableau) strongly preferred
• SAS and/or SQL experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines across multiple time zones
• Ability to work independently in a sometimes ambiguous setting
• Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally across the entire WBD finance organization
• Entertainment experience a plus
• MBA is a plus
