The Job

The Manager, Business Analysis will be responsible for leading analyses to deepen the understanding of business drivers at the Latin America Streaming group of Warner Bros. Discovery. Reporting to the Vice President, Performance Management, the candidate will partner with stakeholders across HBO Max Latin America and other Warner Media divisions to identify critical questions, develop hypotheses, secure and analyze required data, extract conclusions and prepare presentations or documents to ensure effective communication.

The Daily
• Leads business analysis function supporting the agenda of HBO Max Latin America Executive Committee and Warner Media Finance
• Conducts specific analyses including ROI for discrete initiatives, comparative performance and benchmarking, root cause identification and sensitivity to key variables, among others
• Tackles complex and ambiguous questions, developing framework for analysis and alternative hypotheses to evaluate
• Liaises with peers in North America, EMEA and APAC to leverage learnings, benchmarks and analytical approaches, incorporating a global perspective in the evaluation and in communication documents
• Partners with global functions including Strategy, Data Science, Business Intelligence and Research to coordinate ad hoc analyses, validate conclusions with senior leadership, and lead efforts to socialize learnings across the LATAM team
• Initiates exploratory analyses with a focus on subscriber trends and cross-market comparisons, sharing insights with the executive team
• Promotes a data-driven culture across the company, proactively seeking opportunities to support decision making with robust, fact-based analysis

The Essentials
• Experience in consulting, business analysis or similar role
• Masters in Business Administration or comparable professional experience
• Deep expertise in direct-to-consumer digital business, ideally focused on content and/or subscription-based models
• Comfortable with ambiguity; experienced in structuring analyses leading to robust conclusions working with large data sets as well as with minimal data
• Able to integrate information from multiple, disparate data sources to build a comprehensive picture of critical business problems and dynamically refine as new information becomes available
• Solid track record of turning analytical conclusions into actionable recommendations with measurable impact
• Intermediate to strong technical skills, mastering self-serve tools for data retrieval and visualization (Looker, Tableau, Domo); Python/R a plus (not required)
