Your Role

The Manager, Archives Exhibitions & Events supports Warner Bros. Discovery Archives efforts to build and maintain our collections and tools, and acts as an enthusiastic advocate and personal representative for the Archive in the company by promoting our resources, programs, and services.

The Manager, Archives Exhibitions & Events is responsible for the daily management of loans provided by the Warner Bros. Discovery Archives, Global Themed Entertainment and with other business groups, to identify and approve Archive holdings appropriate for exhibition and events and serves as our liaison between Global Themed Entertainment and other groups for all Warner Bros. Discovery brands.

The Manager, Archives Exhibitions & Events refines, implements, and upholds archival policies and procedures with regard to selecting, processing, documenting, transporting, and providing access to archival collections.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Responsible for research, selection, and execution of events and exhibitions. Supervise Archival Representatives, and other support staff and interns as assigned, to ensure they perform their duties appropriately. Provide training and coaching as needed.
• Liaise with Global Themed Entertainment, Production Executives, Marketing, Publicity, and other internal and external partners to ensure events and exhibitions are approved and branded appropriately. Support and service requests for research and provide cost estimates.
• Partner with warehouse staff to ensure asset movement is seamless, and workspaces are in place to support the transfer of assets to and from Archives.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and accepted workflows (manage displays and exhibits, labor and security required for the event, ensure assets are processed correctly, and Loan Agreements and Carnets are properly documented, oversee valuations, etc.)

Experience & Qualifications
• Min 5 years' experience in Archives and Entertainment required
• Previous experience working with inventory systems (Asset Hub highly preferred)
• Previous experience with project management software (Asana highly preferred)
• Previous experience dealing directly with customers/customer service
• Experience working with all levels of corporate and production hierarchy
• MLIS/Archive Administration/Museum Curation preferred or equivalent work experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work collaboratively
• Should have excellent research skills
• Must be able to lift boxes or materials 25+ lbs. when necessary, working in an industrial/warehouse environment.
• Must be flexible
