Job Description
Your New Role…
The Sr. Machine Learning Engineer will be part of a talented Machine Learning Platform (MLP) group focused on designing and developing scalable ML platforms, tools, and systems. As a Sr. ML Engineer, you will focus on developing and deploying for partner teams such as product, engineering, content, marketing, and research.

This individual will bring in his/her expertise in a wide variety of big data processing frameworks (both open source and proprietary), large scale database systems, stream data processing, API Development, Machine learning operationalization, and cloud automation to build and support all the data needs across HBOMAX platform.
• Building scalable, power, and user-friendly infrastructure that powers ML at WBD.
• Work closely with Data Product Management, Data Science, and Data Engineering to design and build fast and reliable services
• Create libraries to enable data scientists to experiment and productionize models as effectively and quickly as possible

Experience and Qualifications…
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
• Ability and willingness to learn any new technologies and apply them at work in order to stay ahead of the curve.
• Expertise in at least few programming languages - Java, Scala, Python or similar.
• Expertise in building and managing large volume data processing (both streaming and batch) platform is a plus.
• Expertise in building micro services and managing containerized deployments, preferably using Kubernetes
• Expertise in distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Flink or Similar.
• Cloud (AWS) experience is preferred
• Ability to learn and teach new languages and frameworks
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong team focus with outstanding organizational and resource management skills

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $93,800.00 - $174,200.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
