Your New Role...
The International Compensation Project Manager will be a key member of the International Reward Team. This role will report to the VP, International Compensation and Benefits and work within the International Compensation Project Team, based in Chiswick on a hybrid basis. Activities will focus on harmonising compensation plans and programmes across the combined WBD organisation outside of the US and Canada (known as ''International'') as well as supporting the wider International Reward Team by providing tools and designing processes which drive efficiency. The team is additionally responsible for all compensation projects which cross more than one region within International as well as supporting the Global Compensation Team (based in the US) on programmes and projects with a global scope.
Your Role Accountabilities:
• Supporting or leading on the compensation projects that impact multiple International regions, which include Latin America and two regions both in EMEA and APAC
• Working closely with the Global Compensation Team and the VP, International C&B, to support the annual compensation planning process across International
• Designing and communicating processes for the international region in conjunction with the Global Compensation Team and P&C Operations
• Building project plans to ensure clear communications to all stakeholders such as Regional C&B teams and P&C partners
• Coordinating data auditing and provide analysis as well as system testing and administration
• Supporting the review of our current approach to Pay Ranges across International
• Building a sustainable model that works within the overall global framework, driving efficiency in job pricing, empowering P&C and ensuring pay decisions are underpinned by market data
• Working with the Regional C&B teams to create the ranges within each country
• Supporting the education, training, and rollout of the combined ranges to P&C and managers
• Leading on various analytical projects such as competitive analysis, inflationary/cost of living impacts, equal pay, gender pay, pay transparency etc which impact multiple regions
• Leading on survey submission processes providing quality data across all of International
• Partnering closely with the Global Compensation Team to ensure alignment between US and International on all compensation plans, programmes and projects
• Ensuring the International C&B Team are kept up to date on changes made to global compensation plans and programmes
• Supporting the alignment of International compensation between the two legacy organisations
• Creating International compensation guidelines, resources and tools to support the team and P&C Partners
• Partnering with the US Direct to Consumer (DTC) Comp Leads providing insight and analysis on International DTC trends
• Reviewing the International operating model with key stake holders to ensure we have a streamlined and efficient processes in place
• Supporting the compensation harmonisation activity across International focusing on plans and programmes that span across multiple regions (WBD Job Architecture, Job Levelling, Sales Compensation) Support the VP, International C&B as needed on any ad hoc projects
Qualifications and Experience...
• Strong organisational skills with proven ability to multi-task and self-prioritise as needed, with a willingness to adapt quickly where priorities change
• Proven track record of delivering projects across multiple markets using sound project management techniques
• Ability to lead multiple projects/tasks concurrently, prioritising and delegating effectively
• Experience of compensation methodologies, programmes and processes such as job architecture design and implementation, variable compensation administration, benchmarking, use of market data, annual rewards processes
• Advance Microsoft excel knowledge with strong skills in other, MS office programmes, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Workday is preferable
• Ability to quickly build robust relationships with stakeholders and to effectively influence others and manage conflict
• A global 'one team' mindset to support collaborative working across the team with a willingness to both take a lead or support role as appropriate for the situation
• Strong communication skills, delivering complex messages and concepts in a clear and engaging way, tailoring their communication style effectively to their audience
