Growth Data Analyst, Sports (Temporary)

The Growth Data Analyst is an important role in enabling the team to deliver data and insights requirements to key stakeholders across the business, including Marketing, Product, Research, Sales, TMG, Programming, and EDS. The role is responsible for understanding the TNT Sports' data and analytics ecosystem and helping to create meaningful data solutions to advance stakeholders' business objectives.
Role Accountabilities...
• Gain an understanding of TNT Sports' data and analytics needs to identify new opportunities to enhance data for business insights and marketing activations.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, data discovery, and exploratory and in-depth data analyses.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Data Architect, and other members of the team, to determine feasibility and design, validate data sets, and ensure successful deliverables to stakeholders.
• Wrangle data from multiple sources to create integrated and actionable data insights through data extraction and/or transformation processes via any data handling means relevant (SQL, Python, LookML, etc.).
• Build and maintain relationships with matrixed teams across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience...
3+ years of experience as a business or data analyst in a fast-paced environment.
Strong data analysis, problem solving, time management, and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including interpreting technical jargon to non-technical business users.
Advanced communication skills and analytic thinking with the ability to seamlessly communicate between technical and non-technical teams. Experience in technical documentation and data/process flows a plus.
Ability to work across various business groups and manage multiple projects with varying timelines.
Able to adapt and find creative solutions when faced with frequently changing and sometimes ambiguous goals. Excellent time management skills.
Ability to wrangle data sets across multiple sources to provide meaningful data to business users.
Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical requirements. Experience working with complex data sets, analyzing and UATing the data. Proficient skills in SQL/Python/R/etc., SQL data bases like PostgreSQL and Snowflake, and BI Tools like Looker and Tableau. Knowledge of data engineering/pipelines (Pentaho) a plus.
