International Television Production (WBITVP) Deutschland GmbH entwickelt und produziert TV-Shows, Reality-TV-Formate, Gemeinsam unterhalten, entwickeln und produzieren wir weltweit in über 14 Ländern mit unserer Kreativität diverse TV-Shows, Reality-TV-Formate, Dokutainment, Comedy-Shows, Serien und TV-Movies für öffentlich-rechtliche Sendeanstalten, private Sender, VOD und SVOD-Plattformen. Dazu gehören erfolgreiche Fiction-Formate wie Wilsberg, Marie Brand und Friesland sowie Non-Fiction-Formate wie Bares für Rares, Der Bachelor, Die Bachelorette, Adam sucht Eva und First Dates.

Zusammen mit dem Leiter Finanzbuchhaltung unterstützt du als Financial Accountant die Buchhaltung für WBITVP Deutschland, indem du mit dem lokalen Management, den Produktionsbuchhaltern und den Produktions-Teams zusammenarbeitest. Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören u.a. die Unterstützung bei der Abstimmung der Bilanz und bei der Erstellung von gesetzlichen Jahresabschlüssen sowie Prüfungen.

Deine Aufgaben
• In Zusammenarbeit mit dem lokalen Management und den Produktionsbuchhaltern bist du verantwortlich für die Monatsabschlussaktivitäten
• Du unterstützt den Leiter Finanzbuchhaltung bei der Bilanzprüfung und bei Abstimmungen für die US-GAAP-Berichterstattung unter Berücksichtigung steuerlicher und gesetzlicher Vorgaben
• Du initiierst und koordinierst interne Abstimmungen zu Geschäftsprozessen und deren Optimierung
• In Zusammenarbeit mit dem lokalen Management, den Produktionsbuchhaltern und weitere Abteilungen gleichst du Intercompany-Transaktionen ab
• Du überwachst alle Vorgänge in Bezug auf Bankabstimmungen, um ein angemessenes und rechtzeitiges Clearing zu gewährleisten
• Du bist für das Monitoring und die Aufarbeitung verschiedener Konten (einschließlich Forderungen und Verbindlichkeiten) verantwortlich
• Du erarbeitest gemeinsam mit dem Leiter Finanzbuchhaltung relevante Informationen für interne Stakeholder einschließlich ITVP HQ, Steuerpartner und Corporate Finance
• Du unterstützt bei der Vorbereitung der jährliche Prüfungen und bei anderen regulatorischen Prozessen
• In Zusammenarbeit mit den Produktions-Teams und dem lokalen Management überwachst du die AP- und Ausgabenprozesse, einschließlich der Verwaltung von Bankkonten, Kreditkarten und Prepaid-Karten
• Du unterstützt den Leiter Finanzbuchhaltung bei der Durchführung lokaler Prozesse und Kontrollen, um sicherzustellen, dass das Geschäft gemäß den Richtlinien der WBITVP und der WBD betrieben wird

Dein Profil
• Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Finanzmanagement oder eine kaufmännische Ausbildung mit entsprechende Zusatzqualifikation
• Du hast bereits einschlägige relevante Berufserfahrung in einer ähnlichen Funktion, vorzugsweise in der Medienbranche
• Du weist sehr gute Kenntnisse in MS Office auf, insbesondere MS Excel
• SAP-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil
• Du arbeitest proaktiv, eigenständig und teamorientiert
• Klares Denken und eine Fähigkeit, das Wesentliche im Auge zu behalten prägen deine bisherige Arbeit
• Deine Dienstleistungsmentalität ist stark ausgeprägt, kombiniert mit einem gesunden Selbstvertrauen

Your New Role...

Together with the Finance Accounting Manager, support all aspects of controllership activities for WBITVP Deutschland, liaising with local management and production accountants and the wider production teams. Responsibilities will include supporting balance sheet reconciliations and local controls, management accounts, statutory accounts and audits, tax providers, and coordinating financial accounting requirements with production accountants. The role will report into Central European Hub Controller with secondary reporting to the Finance Accounting Manager.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Working with local management and production accountants, responsibility for month end activities including intercompany recharges, quarterly production accrual entries, post-production accounting entries, real estate cost centre reconciliations and payroll journals.
• Liaise with ITVP Controllership Poland, SDC and other WBD accounting departments on accounting entries driven by them such as fixed asset and lease accounting, bonus and stock options and ensure associated taxes are accurately accrued and accounted for.
• Support Finance Accounting Manager to ensure appropriate data integrity including c-items, MPM and project codes.
• Work with local management, production accountants and ITVP Controllership Poland to reconcile and manage the reconciliation and settlement of intercompany transactions. Provide support in quarterly footnote reporting process including management of quarterly AR ageing report.
• Support Finance Accounting Manager in the execution of local processes and controls to ensure business operates in accordance with WBITVP divisional and Warner Media group policies.
• Support Finance Accounting Manager to ensure balance sheets are reviewed and reconciliations prepared to an acceptable standard for both US GAAP reporting, tax and statutory purposes. Coordinate with business process owner to clear reconciling items on a timely basis.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company to ensure compliance with control environment, group policy, local regulations, local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Monitor SDC performance of cash and bank clearing activities to substantiate appropriate and timely clearing. Coordinate additional clearing instructions through discussion with production accountants and local management.
• Assist in monitoring SDC performance open-item-managed accounts clearing activities (including cash and bank, AR and AP clearing), to substantiate appropriate and timely clearing.
• Support Finance Accounting Manager in providing information for other WB partners including ITVP HQ, Tax partners and Corporate Finance.
• Support the preparation of information for annual audits and other regulatory processes.
• Coordinating with the production teams and local management, oversight of AP and expenses processes including the administration of bank accounts, credit cards and prepayment cards.
• Coordination of customer receipts posting and clearing with Production Accountants and SDC.
• Participate in systems development and deployment as required.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Accounting qualification preferred with experience working in similar finance function
• English language (written and spoken) essential
• Fluent in German
• Prior experience working in multi-national matrix organisation beneficial
• Prior experience working with outsourcing partners beneficial
• Enterprise system skills required (Just Produce / Navision and SAP preferred)
