Your New Role
The Finance Manager, APAC, provides support for the APAC CFO and the DTC CFO organizations, including segment finance teams, supporting consolidated financial reporting across all business units within the International (Networks and Studios) and Global DTC segments. This role provides support for regional finance on reporting & consolidation, coordination of calendars and deliverables, financial analysis, data management, operational review reporting and issue triage. The role supports preparation and review of APAC and DTC APAC consolidated operating results and financial reporting packages, flash reporting, content cashflow reporting, revenue trend reporting, and ad hoc analysis as required.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Lead Segment FP&A Partner for DTC APAC P&L.
• Lead Segment FP&A Partner for all revenue streams (including but not limited to Distribution, Theatrical, Advertising sales, Licensing & Merchandising, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment), and Data, Technology, Operations, and Innovation costs reporting, analysis, monthly forecast and annual budget.
• Lead communications with Controllership teams based in Argentina, India, Singapore, UK and US as well as with APAC Finance Teams on revenue booking, cash collection / aging, actual booking adjustment, etc., to ensure accuracy of monthly actual results and accounting treatments per internal policies.
• Lead and own Technology and Operations P&L to ensure accuracy of monthly actual results and accounting treatments per internal policies.
• Actively involved in integration of the Finance Functions, processes, and systems.
• Own and drive process for APAC subscriber reporting to ensure consistency including building process for rollout of DTC service working with Finance Teams and other relevant teams.
• Actively involved in liaising with, and play a lead role for APAC finance in support of, Technology and Operational Costs and functional finance teams in projects across APAC, including financial modeling and scenario analysis of related costs.
• Own and coordinate with the leadership teams in APAC and EMEA on Technology & Operations CAPEX budget, forecast, and tracking.
• Manage system uploads, enhancements, and process improvement projects.
• Providing support to APAC Finance Teams in revenue analysis, consolidation, and deal structures.
• Manage Cashflow forecast submission for APAC, working with the relevant Finance Teams for details and submission.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and duties as required, including business cases and new projects.
• Where relevant, manage Direct Report.
Qualifications & Experience
• Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with key accounting principles and concepts, financial analysis and reporting. Experience with Hyperion and SAP is a plus.
• Strong written, oral and presentation skills; effective communicator at all levels of the organization; ability to influence others.
• High level of executive presence with strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills, and a high degree of integrity, tact and diplomacy.
• Active communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization and across multiple locations.
