Summary

The Executive Director, Data Science will be responsible for overseeing the Data Science team's work developing models/conducting analyses using machine learning, regression modeling and time-series forecasting techniques. The team's work will range from content forecasting, quantifying cross-channel impact on consumer demand, price elasticity analyses, and content price optimization. As team leader, the Executive Director will be responsible for connecting strategic business questions with the team's analytical work. Furthermore, the Executive Director will help the team remove roadblocks in their analytical work, find alternative approaches to solving new problems, and mentor the individual team members in their professional development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Data Analytics: Guide team's work developing statistical models, conducting statistical analyses and performing database analytics with R, Python, and other statistical software to address internal business questions around cross channel interactions, impact of release strategy and windowing on content performance, price elasticity, merchandising and promotion effectiveness, etc. Must have strong knowledge of machine learning, regression and time series forecasting techniques to validate team's work and to help team troubleshoot analytical roadblocks.
• Storytelling and visual display of analytic output: Develop consumer analytics dashboards in Tableau, R-Shiny or SAS Visual Analytics to help communicate insights, track customer growth and engagement across partner platforms. Conduct ad hoc queries to help stakeholders better identify digital strategies that are contributing to growth and quantify impacts to multiple business interests. Combine first party anonymized customer data with 3rd party research reports to better understand customer base.
• Team Leadership and Mentoring: Liaison with business stakeholders to support their analytical needs and create opportunities for the data science team to solve business problems. Proactively identify analytical questions and opportunities for the team. Validate team's work is meeting business expectations and thoroughly support strategic needs. Finally, mentor team members in their individual professional development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Statistics, Math or related field is required.
• 6 plus years of experience using data science modeling techniques (ie. regression analyses, machine learning, time-series forecasting) on large & small, user-level & market-level datasets to produce customer and marketing insights that have resulted in tangible business improvements.
• Strong background in pricing analytics and model development, including experimental design experience.
• Strong proficiency working in relational databases and big-data systems to aggregate, organize, and prepare data for analysis.
• Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools to display & communicate quantitative information and analytical output to non-technical stakeholders.
• History of collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient with big-data technology, enablement & analytic tools (including Relational Databases, R, Python, SQL, SAS).
• Creative problem-solver who works well as part of a team.
• Strong team focus with outstanding organizational and resource management skills.Assist the Executive Director with managing projects and team-members.
• Ability to liaise & communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Salary Range: $125,300 to $232,700 Per Year ($ USD)
