Your New Role...
The Director of Production Safety will report to the VP of Safety and provide guidance to company's production divisions in multiple locations starting at pre-production through strike. The role is to be a partner in the production process to communicate the safety program to production teams and provide solutions to safety concerns, environmental conditions, and weather exposures.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Review scripts and schedules for any hazardous stunt activity and /or high-risk exposures.
• Communicate with ADs, Producers, Special Effect and Stunt Coordinators, Location Managers, and internal Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO departments.
• Communicate and understand the safety precautions developed by Stunt and Special Effect Coordinators so the level of risk is appropriate for the action sequence desired by production management. Discuss any concerns and resolutions with WBD/HBO executives.
Qualifications and Experience...
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 15 years of experience in production safety preferred.
• Relationships with AMPTP/CSATF committees preferred.
• Ability to travel required.
• Safety certifications preferred.
• Flexible, team-oriented attitude preferred.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $122,500.00 - $227,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
