The Role
Director Product Security will be an important member of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Information and Content Security team and will lead a team of security professionals to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks across the product development lifecycle. Your goal will be to ensure that our products and services are secure and meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Areas of Responsibility
• Develop and implement a comprehensive product security strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry standards.
• Work with product development teams to embed security into the product development process from ideation to release.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that security requirements are properly defined and integrated into the product development process.
• Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies to enhance product security.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Identify and define product security requirements and security baselines.
• Drive change, work collaboratively and proactively grow the security culture across the organization (e.g., Technical Architects, Engineering Leads, Product managers, etc.).
• Review current security measures and recommend or implement enhancements.
• Participate in information security operations duties, including occasional incident response escalations as a subject matter expert.
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of product/application security work experience
• Knowledge of common security principles for web application architectures
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with great attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience leading security teams and developing security strategies.
• Knowledge of practical threat modeling for consumer applications
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and secure coding practices.
• Demonstrated ability to explain risks and vulnerabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Broad knowledge of Security technologies, process, and techniques and a strong understanding of application security leading practices including OWASP
• Experience in secure software development principles in various languages (Java, Go, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
• Languages: Fluent English and Polish
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or Information Security preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles
• Experience in application/tool development with at least one modern programming language
• GPEN, GWAPT, GMOB or other Security Certifications
