Job Description
The Director of Data Architecture will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data architecture solutions on various cloud technologies . This role requires extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, canonical data modeling, data quality, and artificial intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles and best practices and will be able to lead the development of a cohesive data strategy that aligns with business
objectives .
In this role, you will ensure the scalability and performance of our data architecture to support growing data volumes and complexity. You will also focus on
optimizing resources and ensuring that data architecture solutions are cost-effective and efficient. Your ability to fit within the organization and collaborate with various teams will be crucial in delivering successful data architecture projects. Additionally, you will leverage AI capabilities to enhance data processing, analysis, and decision-making.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end architecture of the data platform, ensuring its efficiency, cost-effectiveness, security, and governance.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture solutions
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture strategy that supports business goals and
objectives .
• Implement and manage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Develop and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Design and implement canonical data models to standardize data across the organization.
• Ensure data quality by implementing best practices and tools for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture best practices and emerging technologies.
• Oversee the integration of data from various sources into a unified data architecture.
• Ensure the scalability and performance of data architecture solutions to support growing data volumes and complexity.
• Optimize resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient data architecture solutions.
• Design and implement different data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data processing systems.
• Ensure that data architecture solutions fit within the organizational structure and align with business processes.
• Leverage AI capabilities to enhance data processing, analysis, and decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and AI, and apply them to improve our data infrastructure.
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1 2 + years' experience with data platforms, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and big data technologies
• Extensive experience with AWS services , Snowflake and its ecosystem
• Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, canonical data modeling, data quality, and AI.
• Experience in Media and Entertainment industry is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams across multiple locations and disciplines
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across all levels of an
organization
• Recognized thought leader in the field of enterprise data architecture , with contributions to industry discussions, publications, or conferences
