Your New Role

As the Creative Director, you will be part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Creative Services team and will have a pivotal role in defining and implementing the creative vision and strategy for our General Entertainment, Factual, Lifestyle and Sports channels, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence across all multimedia platforms. Your creative expertise will help shape our content strategy, enhance viewer engagement, and reinforce our brand identity in the competitive entertainment industry. You will lead a team of copywriters, preditors and editors and will work aligned with Design, Operations, Marketing, Social and Programming.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Develop and communicate a cohesive and inspiring creative vision for our General Entertainment, Factual, Lifestyle and Sports channel aligning with our brand positioning and strategic goals.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of creatives, including copywriters and preditors, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Oversee the creation and production of multimedia content, including integrated campaigns, promos and social assets, ensuring they adhere to high standards of creativity, quality, and brand consistency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, programming, design, and production, to ensure alignment of creative initiatives with business objectives and audience preferences.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform and elevate our creative approach, pushing boundaries and remaining competitive in the market.
• Provide strategic direction for advertising campaigns, promotional material, and brand messaging, ensuring they effectively communicate our unique value proposition to our target audience.
• Manage relationships with external creative agencies, freelancers, and other partners, ensuring their work aligns with our brand guidelines and meets quality standards.
• Act as a spokesperson for the company's creative vision, both internally and externally, promoting our brand's identity and creative excellence within the industry.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in advertising, communications or related fields.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in creative roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial capacity within the entertainment or multimedia industry.
• Proven track record of conceptualizing and leading successful creative campaigns and projects that have made a significant impact on brand visibility and audience engagement.
• Fan of pop culture and sports.
• Extensive knowledge of multimedia content creation, design principles, and video production, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve shared creative objectives.
• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen, capable of aligning creative initiatives with broader organizational goals and market trends.
• Creative visionary with the ability to translate ideas into compelling and marketable concepts that resonate with diverse audiences.
