The Director of Commercial Analytics & Business Insights will drive and grow the GCP business by transforming data into actionable recommendations for executive management. They must have strong analytical and business acumen to link data to business insights and provide the ''so what'' to support data-driven decisions. Using first- and third-party data, they will analyze commercial performance, identify white space opportunities, and enable stronger commercial decisions through uncovering consumer and commercial insights. As a key business partner, they will collaborate with executive regional leadership, retail, category, and finance teams. They will create clear, standardized reporting and KPI measurements. This role will lead and develop a small team of analysts that drives outsized business impact.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Leads the development of the data and analytics capability with particular emphasis on insights that accelerate growth across key regions globally
• Collaborates with teams to identify holistic data needs and develop solutions to address them
• Leads the vision and implementation for our Product Information Master (PIM) to effectively enable product analytics
• Synthesizes, analyzes and interprets data to from multiple sources to tell holistic story & guide strategic business decisions
• Uncovers insights related to products, channels, shoppers, and franchises, driving informed new business development opportunities
• Delivers CP's business data & analytics roadmap needs in partnership with WBD technology team
• Work with our technology partners and data engineers to ensure high-quality, usable data are captured to support reliable business-facing analytics
• Manages internal retail POS data to provide accurate retail data to assist in growing key account retailers and provide competitive intelligence
• Enables product lifecycle analytics for the commercial businesses from contract negotiation to performance; sell-in and sell-thru
• Evaluates and analyzes existing licensee performance driving overall profitability
• Partners with category and retail teams to assist in creating detailed business plans focused on commercial and growth opportunities
• Creates models for business insights across distribution, market share, category and SKU mix, and price tiering
• Determines key performance indicators (KPIs) for GCP business and monitors performance of retail and commercial activities using key metrics to identify opportunities & inform actions
• Develop and maintain dashboards and standardized reports to track key performance metrics and empower self-service, data driven decisions
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by developing and implementing quality control measures
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis to continuously improve processes and strategies
• Defines business requirements for data collection and user access
• Delivers clear data driven insights in both verbal and written form
• Leads ad hoc projects, as requested

Qualifications & Experience...

Work Experience
• 10+ years delivering analytics-driven business insights for a consumer product business either in-house or at a top consulting firm
• Minimum 7+ years of project management experience required
• Minimum 5+ years of retail analytics experience required

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• MBA is a plus

Knowledge/Skills
• Excellent technical, analytical & organizational skills
• Experience with data visualization and reporting systems such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Experience in developing and reporting business performance metrics
• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including ability to ''tell a story''
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Access, Publisher, and One Note
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to partner with system developers/designers
• Able to build strong working partnerships along with the ability to listen understand and influence
• Ability to craft concise recommendations based on thorough business and market analysis
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and data graphically in an effective way
• Ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines and be effective and decisive under pressure
• Strong intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement, consulting, customer service mindset
• Team player with interpersonal ability to work with others and collaborate to achieve goals
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
