As the Art Director, you will be part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Creative Services team in Latin America, playing a key role in all our communication, design and brand strategy for all the region. You will lead a team of graphic and motion designers responsible for a diverse range of projects, from linear channels to streaming, from offline to digital, from General Entertainment, Factual and Lifestyle to Sports. You will collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to ensure our content is visually stunning, on-brand, and engaging. This role requires a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of visual storytelling, and a passion for entertainment.
- Provide creative direction and leadership to ensure that all visual aspects of our projects align with our artistic vision and brand identity.
- Develop and implement visual strategies that enhance the overall impact and appeal of our content across various platforms, including film, television, and digital media.
- Lead and inspire a team of artists, designers, and other creative professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure their work meets our high standards.
- Oversee the creation and production of multimedia content, including graphic packages, animation, digital campaigns, and more, ensuring they adhere to high standards of creativity, quality, and brand consistency.
- Ensure all visual materials are consistent with our brand guidelines and maintain a unified visual identity across different projects.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as production, post-production, and marketing, to ensure that the visual elements of our content align with our overall goals and strategies.
- Drive concept development, animations, and artistic direction for various projects, maintaining a keen eye for detail and an understanding of audience appeal.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve our visual storytelling capabilities.
- Provide strategic art direction for advertising campaigns, promotional material, and brand messaging, ensuring they effectively communicate our unique value proposition to our target audience.
- Manage relationships with external design agencies, freelancers, and other partners, ensuring their work aligns with our brand guidelines and meets quality standards.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company's creative vision, both internally and externally, promoting our brand's identity and creative excellence within the industry.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in design, multimedia arts, film production, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in creative roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial capacity within the entertainment or multimedia industry.
- Proven track record of conceptualizing and leading successful design projects that have made a significant impact on brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Extensive knowledge of multimedia content creation, design principles, and video production, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve shared creative objectives.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen, capable of aligning creative initiatives with broader organizational goals and market trends.
- Creative visionary with the ability to translate ideas into compelling and marketable concepts that resonate with diverse audiences.
