Your New Role:

The AI Governance & Maturity Director is responsible for supporting the WBD AI Program as a member of the Technology Business Solutions (TBS) team within Technology & Operations (T&O) Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy (EAS) organization. This position will report directly into the VP, Technology Business Solutions

The ideal candidate will have a unique mix of functional competencies, operational acumen, and strategic mindset. We are looking for someone who will roll up their sleeves, take ownership, drive buy-in and implementation of strategic initiatives, who has demonstrated success in leading and executing, who has experience in creating and improving processes, who is technically minded, and who can effectively communicate and be comfortable in a dynamic fast-growing company. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated record of success working in uncertain environments, having driven strategic priorities with a high level of independence. This is a client and executive facing role that requires being able to balance multiple projects, priorities, and detail while cultivating a trusted relationship with global partners and managing a team.

AI/Innovation Focused Role: (80%)
• Provide strategic leadership through the development and execution of comprehensive AI governance strategies aligned with WBD operational workflows and standards
• Parter with relevant governance teams (Legal, Information Security, Cloud Governance, Procurement, ..etc) to provide thought leadership and standards around AI ethics, risk management, and compliance practices to ensure adherence to WBD AI policies and principals
• Drive risk identification and management around AI use cases and the WBD AI program
• Work closely with governance stakeholders and WBD AI Tech Committee to promote responsible AI practices
• Design and implement an AI maturity model specific to WBD capabilities and need
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging AI guidelines and policies

Strategy Execution/Solution Architecture: (20%)
• Lead wide range of strategy execution projects in the area of innovation and transformation- provide solution architecture to streamline, globalize, standardize, optimize and modernize T&O's capabilities
• Drive technology/business process re-engineering efforts. Comprehend, document, and analyze complex business and architecture workflows, collaborate with functionals teams to define areas of improvement and design future state process
• Conduct investments due diligence efforts to include comprehensive business case development, trade off studies, cost modeling, and benchmark studies to drive recommendations that validate opportunities relevance
• Analyze and interpret complex data from various sources to derive conclusions and communicate insights
• Support Tech Executives, Finance, and People & Culture teams on organizational initiatives to deliver new and optimized services, capabilities, and teams
• Act as key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, T&O department, and outside vendors
• Create consensus with other functionals as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals
• Identify, screen and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs
• Develop deep and trust relationships with key partners and use the knowledge of their business processes and requirements to drive technology strategy work prioritization
• Develop executive material and analytic dashboards
• Provide financial oversight in development and tracking of program budgets, including but not limited to reconciliation, reporting, and understanding of variances
• Mange consultant and tech vendors on strategic engagements by providing direction, guidance, and oversight.

Qualifications & Experiences:
• MBA or equivalent of 8 years of related professional work experience,
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience is preferred
• 3 yrs in management consulting is preferred
• Experience with AI technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing.
• Experience in AI governance, compliance, or risk management.
• Experience with delivering financial based models, calculations, and analysis.
• Ability to influence without authority and build strong rapport with stakeholders inside and outside of technology teams
• Project management skills
• Advanced MS excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Lucid skills
*This is a hybrid position that may be based in Atlanta, GA, Washington, DC or New York, NY. The ability to report to work onsite 3 days per week is required.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $145,250.00 - $269,750.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
