Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Digital Ad Operations & Programmatic Specialist to provide maternity leave cover for our GSA Digital Ad Operations team. In this role, you will own all digital ad tech and monetization operations for AVOD, SVOD, and HbbTV, ensuring seamless technical implementation, campaign execution, programmatic operations, partner communication, and reporting.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• First-level support for digital technical implementations (ad tag validation, troubleshooting).
• Manage VAST tags, macros, and delivery issues.
• Coordinate ads.txt and app-ads.txt updates.
• Maintain structured communication with business partners and support contract processes.
• Produce reports and analyze performance with BI teams.
• Manage AVOD/SVOD consent banners and conduct inventory forecasting.
• Set up and manage programmatic deals (PMP, PG, PD).
• Provide technical troubleshooting and escalations.
• Create performance reports and insights; maintain blacklists and legal compliance.
• Forecast programmatic revenue and inventory.
• Deliver campaign forecasts and reporting for paid and unpaid direct campaigns.
• Set up video and display campaigns (paid and cross-promotion).
• Set up YouTube O&O and Kids campaigns.
• Create presentations for AVOD/SVOD digital products and programmatic strategy.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Proven experience in Ad Operations, Programmatic, or Digital Ad Tech.
• Strong expertise across AVOD, SVOD, and HbbTV ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with ad servers (FreeWheel preferred), SSPs, DSPs.
• Solid understanding of ad tags, pixels, programmatic setup, and consent frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills for forecasting and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
