Job Description
General Summary:

The Commercial Scheduling Supervisor is in charge of leading the commercial scheduling team. The Supervisor is a vital part of the commercial operations team and will be liaising with the wider AdSales team to ensure sales revenue is maximized whilst ensuring codes of practice are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
• Team leader for the commercial scheduling team.
• Maintaining a strong team culture.
• Prepare daily logs for transmission.
• Maintain break structures and ratecard within BTS.
• Proactively identify and challenge new ways of working to maximise team's efficiency.
• Manage late amendments from Content to commercial changes.
• Ensure industry codes are adhered to.
• Sponsorship management from integration.
• Liaise with Content/TTOP and Broadcast Ops to ensure workflow is smooth.
• BTS expert around process systems, enhancements, and testing
• Building team involvement with the training and development of inventory staff members
• Liaising with Co-Ordinator's to provide support and motivation.
• On call duties on a rotational basis.
• Uphold the company values & expected behaviors in all undertakings related to your employment.
• Ensure you are familiar with the Employer's policies & procedures, & any modifications to those policies & procedures that may be introduced from time to time.
• Carry out your work safely & without endangering or causing harm to yourself, fellow staff members, contractors customers, visitors, or the general public.
• The Company may, after fair and reasonable consultation, change your duties, from time to time, for commercial reasons but not so as to substantially change the nature of the position.
• Other duties as required.

Qualities & experience required:
• Leadership experience.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience in Broadcasting role (either Comms/Traffic Ops preferred).
• Possesses a detailed understanding of NZ Broadcast environment.
• An understanding of all channels across the WBD portfolio, and the individual requirements of each play out area.
• Highly numerate with complex trading modules across multiple media platforms.
• Experience and understanding of the dynamics of the media industry with deep domain knowledge of TV pricing, trading and revenue generation.
• Experience working in a rapidly changing market environment where technology and innovation are critical to success and growth.
• Outstanding strategic and analytical skills.
• Demonstrable experience in complex trading strategies.
• Demonstrable decision-making capabilities in a data led environment.
• The ability to interpret complex information and communicate clear recommendations.
• The ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter who can work collaboratively with other teams.
• Accuracy and outstanding attention to detail.
• Media experience, experience across TV platforms will be highly valued.
