Job Description
Your New Role

Reviews and drafts above the line personal service contracts; reviewing and/or drafting production related documents [e.g. location agreements, equipment rentals, non-disclosure agreements, set visit forms, etc.]. Assisting in chain-ot-title review and compliance with clearance standards; also advising executives and production personnel; answering phones, scheduling and filing

Your Role Accountabilities
• Receives and processes initial deal memos/assignments received from Business Affairs, Production, TV Music, etc. Prepares initial draft of the contract(s) and certificate(s) and determines correct form(s) and attachment(s). Incorporates deal points and other deal specific terms, as well as standard WBTV terms where necessary. Determines appropriate contracting entity and ensures compliance with WB corporate policies. After review by attorney incorporates changes, and after final review disseminates externally and internally. Prepares drafts of and circulates final legal documents including contracts, deal memos, cover letters, and other legal documents as deemed necessary.
• Review Television scripts and cuts to ensure that names, places, businesses, etc., are fictitious and confirms facts by checking information sources.
• Review daily script revisions to verify required changes have been made and to check if any additions to the script require further clearances.
• Obtain permission for products such as posters, artwork, logos, etc., by contacting rights holder. Check for copyright infringements.
• Maintains and updates approved language for special provisions (e.g. arbitration, guest actor riders, nudity riders, etc.).
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
• Previous experience in a legal, or production environment.
• High school diploma required.
• College graduate preferred.
• Strong attention to detail oriented work.
• Ability to work in deadline driven environment.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication necessary.
• Knowledge of industry practices in the production of film/televison.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with executives, creative personnel at all levels on legal-related issues, and outside representatives of agencies and corporations.
• Must have professional demeanor and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to details.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize assignments.
• Must have excellent follow-through and ability to find and utilize all resources available.
• Must be flexible and able to work hours subject to production needs.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $40,593.00 - $75,388.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
