Job Description
The Project Manager will play a key role in delivering strategic and operational projects within Media Technology & Operations (MT&O). This role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery of projects aligned with MT&O priorities, including initiatives related to the Warner Bros. Discovery separation and subsequent integration activities.
The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while adhering to governance standards and fostering collaboration across global teams, operations and engineering functions.
Your Role Accountabilities…
1. Project Delivery & Execution
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with MT&O objectives and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies and remove delivery blockers.
2. Governance & Reporting
• Ensure compliance with T&O ePMO governance frameworks and standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, RAID logs, and financial tracking.
• Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders through structured reporting and governance forums.
3. Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization to support decision-making.
4. Tooling & Process Adoption
• Utilize ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and other PPM tools as necessary for project tracking and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on tools and processes.
5. Risk, Issue & Quality Management
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks proactively.
• Proactively manage project and program issues, resolving them where possible.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
6. Financial & Resource Management
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and actuals to ensure financial control.
• Optimize resource allocation and manage vendor relationships where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience...
• Mandatory: strong experience managing projects in complex technology or broadcast environments.
• Preferred: Experience in media/broadcast industry and global transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Familiarity with project management tools (ServiceNow SPM, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent.
