Your New Role

Associate of North America Marketing for the Sales & Retail Business Development (RBD) department for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. This role is based in our Burbank office and reports to the Director of North America located in Burbank. In partnership with the Director, this role assists in planning and executing consumer & retail marketing initiatives that support growth for Animation, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, WB Holiday and Horror Portfolios, Discovery, and select Live Action titles, as assigned. This role assists in the planning and implementation of marketing tactics that drive customer engagement and align with our sales and brand objectives. This role also works in close partnership with North America Sales and RBD to execute retail marketing campaigns, differentiation, and sell-through initiatives across physical retail accounts in North America.

Your Role Accountabilities

Strategic Planning

Manages marketing and project timelines while clearly communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders

AdPub Management - annual budget planning, additional requests. Manages day-to-day requests, monitors spend, PO management

Tracks and maintains marketing spend documentation in partnership with marketing managers and prepares reports and presentations to meet quarterly forecast milestones

Supports Marketing planning including cross-divisional planning and communication with key stakeholders

Marketing & Advertising

Assists and coordinates the preparation of presentation materials for external and internal presentations in partnership with Director, Marketing, and providing additional administrative support for the retail marketing managers (physical retailers only).

Coordinates and facilitates creative projects and submissions on behalf of Sales & RBD and Marketing team in partnership with the Director of Marketing

Executes agency related marketing programs tied to affiliates and ambassadors related North America Retail Marketing initiatives

Assists in managing components (title and/or marketing) of studio swing presentation for retail marketing team for physical retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kohls)

Contributes on new business pitches (marketing ideas) for assigned franchise(s)

Contributes to category and licensee updates (marketing)

Marketing consulting and approvals

Review and approval of retail and consumer marketing activities and submissions for NA region for assigned franchises. Routing to Global if required. Deployment of good judgement when evaluating options and recommendation of workable solutions if submissions do not meet franchise requirements.

Special Projects

Manages special events, trade shows, and industry events including managing agencies and coordinating with venues for Licensing Show, NA Summit, Comic Con, etc. on behalf of marketing team and larger North America CP team

Marketing Analytics

Aggregates post promotional performance of Marketing plans to measure effectiveness against Ad Pub/marketing spend

Tracks performance of competitive Marketing programs to develop insights and next steps

Traffic and conversion from paid media & marketing, online and in-store

Flawless execution of marketing programs that support sales strategies

Qualifications & Experience
• 2+ years of work experience in Licensing industry, a licensor, vendor, retailer, or entertainment environment preferred
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required
• Basic licensing industry knowledge with intellectual curiosity
• Ability to take direction and assist Manager in executing strategic and operational plan
• Basic understanding of financial forecasts and budgets
• Strong collaboration and partnership skills
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and tactfully cross-functionally with persons on all levels, in person, in written communication, via phone, via video conference, etc.
• Strong organizational/leadership and planning skills required
• Ability to create pitch/presentations
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills in addition to strong project management
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Well organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skills
• Ability to work well under time pressure and time constraints.
• Self-starter, optimistic and dependable

This position is LA based with a hybrid work schedule

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $42,209.00 - $78,389.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
