Your New Role...

The Associate, Franchise Development is a member of the DC Franchise Development team responsible for strategic development and integrated planning for the DC portfolio including iconic superheroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and many more. This role supports the development of franchise strategies, the development and management of Integrated Franchise Plans and day-to-day marketing approvals.

The position requires strong written and verbal communication and liaising with internal and external parties, including but not limited to Warner Bros Discovery teams in Studios and Networks, HBO Max/Direct to Consumer, Sales & Distribution International, News & Sports, and Corporate Functions. Concentrated efforts and partnership with the DC Comics teams, Legal and Business Planning, Business Units, Territories, Research & Insights, etc. All communication is done in a professional and timely manner.

This is a global role that is responsible for assisting with approvals; supporting the creation of franchise plans, fan engagement initiatives, and marketing materials; as well as assisting with the execution of all franchise initiatives for the DC franchise portfolio and any additional properties, as assigned.
Other properties and duties may be assigned dependent on business development and needs.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Assist in executing franchise strategies and fan engagement initiatives in support of core franchises and individual properties (e.g. Batman, Superman).
• Develop materials for franchise presentation decks, partner pitch decks, sizzle videos, and similar related materials needed to drive the franchise.
• Assist with acquisition, development, approval and use of theatrical, tv and gaming assets.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop impactful and on-brand creative materials, including toolkits, franchise campaigns, and digital content.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that franchise initiatives are executed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate outside resources, agencies and vendors, along with associated deadlines for development, budget and delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, bringing new ideas and best practices to the team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the DC franchise portfolio and ensure high-quality execution and consistency across fan touchpoints.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including other business units, talent, and vendors.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum 3 years marketing, brand or strategy experience required
• Franchise development experience a plus
• Experience with a movie studio and/or entertainment fields highly preferred
• BA/BS required;
• General interest in and appreciation for the DC franchise portfolio.
• Candidate must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and presentation software programs, especially PowerPoint and/or Keynote. Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a plus.
• Clear understanding of marketing and brand-building principles.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of digital platforms and media marketing tools
• Must have the ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information and materials
• Experience managing multiple complex stakeholders with a high level of emotional intelligence and a demonstrated ability to work well across key partners
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and judgment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor
• Ability to travel if necessary

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
