About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Master Data and Credit Management Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of customer master data, managing credit risk, and supporting business operations through accurate and timely data governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis, data management principles, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Master Data Management
• Create, maintain, and validate customer and vendor master records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality.
• Develop and enforce data governance standards and procedures.
Credit Management
• Assess customer creditworthiness using financial statements, credit reports, and payment history.
• Review and approve new customer accounts and credit terms.
• Monitor aging reports and support collections teams in resolving overdue accounts.
Reporting & Analysis
• Generate reports on master data quality, credit exposure, and risk metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve credit risk management and operational efficiency.
• Support audits and compliance reviews with accurate documentation and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and IT to ensure smooth onboarding and account management.
• Participate in system upgrades, data migrations, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in master data management, credit analysis, or related roles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and data governance tools.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies and financial statement analysis.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a shared services or multinational environment.
• Familiarity with DUNS numbers, trade credit insurance, and compliance frameworks
