Job Description
The Global Threat Analysis Center Analyst will work in a 24/7 Global Threat Analysis Center (GTAC) in Hyderabad, India and is a critical part of the operational decision-making process. This position is responsible for the collection and interpretation of multi-source domestic and international data in support of our company's personnel worldwide. The Analyst will be responsible for monitoring intelligence information for the safety and security of employees, facilities, and property worldwide. Using an assortment of tools from various intelligence sources, open-source media, internet, and in-house tools, the Analyst is required to detect, assess, and alert others regarding any adverse conditions affecting the company and its employees. This position requires extreme attention to detail utilizing email, websites, internet-based tools, television, and other sources of media. This position will also perform the duties of a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator for the APAC region.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Act as initial point of contact for Global Security Intelligence and Investigations to aid all employees and others contacting the GTAC for assistance.
• Monitor and analyze security intelligence alerts to assess credibility, severity, and proximity to the company's locations, employees, and special events worldwide.
• Execute notification and escalation protocols to communicate security intelligence information at all levels worldwide to Security Leadership and Management, other business units, and employees.
• Performs the duties of a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator for the APAC region which includes coordinating emergency and non-emergency Security response and monitoring physical security systems (CCTV/Access Control)
• Research open-source intelligence feeds including social media platforms and threat filtering tools for known and potential threats to employees, company locations, and reputation.
Qualifications & Experience…
Required:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable of, and comfortable with searching content on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and other forms of social media.
• Must be willing to work on a shift schedule (including weekends, holidays, and non-business hours) and have flexible availability. This includes the ability to work an extended schedule during crisis periods and remain on duty until properly relieved.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in a relevant course of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience with 1 year of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in a Security Operations Center type environment, preferably pertaining to intelligence analysis.
