Role Overview:
The Streaming FP&A Analyst will support both Global and Domestic Streaming financial planning and analysis activities. This role is integral to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and insights across the streaming business. The analyst will collaborate with global and domestic finance teams, Corporate FP&A, accounting and systems teams to consolidate financial data, analyze performance, and support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Forecasting
• Supporting month end close and forecast/budget reporting process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis and commentary preparation focusing on streaming P&L
• Summarizing key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business and finance leadership
• Support on the reporting packages and deliverables consolidation for month-end close and forecast/budget
• Investigate and explain variances across global and domestic streaming operations
• Validate forecast and budget data integrity in planning systems
Management Reporting & Analysis
• Consolidate actuals and forecast variance explanations for streaming businesses.
• Support forecasting, reporting, and compliance requests from domestic and global finance teams
• Provide ad hoc analysis and respond to cross-functional data requests
• Support various presentations and supporting materials preparation
Systems & Process Support
• Liaise with financial systems teams to implement management reporting and system changes
• Understand and support metadata governance processes (e.g. coding block and hierarchy changes)
• Collaborate with accounting, finance and tech teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on forecasting and budgeting, and requiring strong analytical and organizational skills.
Skills:
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with Oracle EPM or similar financial planning systems
• Experience with S4 Hana or similar financial planning systems
• Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Attributes:
• Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming industries.
