FP&A Analyst
Purpose and Scope
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Global Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Subscriber Revenue Modelling & Reporting team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning processes for the Domestic DTC subscriber revenue business. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and a passion for understanding the dynamics of a subscription-based business.
Key Responsibilities
• Learn, maintain, and enhance a highly sophisticated Excel-based subscriber revenue model.
• Execute monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning scenarios using the model.
• Perform ad-hoc scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all model inputs and outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and assumptions, particularly from BI and Data Analytics teams.
• Extract and validate subscriber metrics (e.g., Gross Paid Adds, Paid Cancels, EOP Paid Subs) from Business Intelligence tools such as Looker.
• Identify opportunities to improve modeling efficiency and automation.
• Present findings and insights in a clear, concise manner to finance and business stakeholders.
• Interact with functional accounting teams and finance teams as necessary to deliver accurate and timely variance analysis.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably within a Direct-to-Consumer or subscription-based business.
• Proven experience with subscriber revenue modeling or similar recurring revenue models.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
Skills and Abilities
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including:
• Complex formulas and functions
• Shortcuts and efficiency techniques
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
