The Warner Brothers Discovery DTC Research team aims to be the trusted partners for our unique businesses through a lens that is unbiased and unfiltered. We objectively translate consumer voices to help make strategic business decisions. The team is looking for a n Analyst, DTC Research, to be a part of the DTC Brand & Growth Research team. The Analyst will help to execute market research studies and First Party Data (1PD) analysis , with focus on Acquisition & Retention responsibilities ranging across US and priority ex-US markets. The candidate is required to be knowledgeable across research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative), with a good skillset of 1PD and quantitative big data analysis.
The Daily
The Analyst will work on a variety of quant research and data analysis under the scope of Acquisition, retention and partnership for Max and Discovery +. They will assist in the day-to-day management, logistics , analysis and reporting of surveys and data from our 1PD as well as ad-hoc quantitative research data across WBD DTC platforms. They will need to work closely with their managers, stakeholders, and colleagues to lead data analysis, implement research and ensure surveys are appropriately reflective of business issues and provide relevant and actionable consumer insights .
The Essentials
• Help manage research studies, including sampling, questionnaire development and execution.
• Support the research study process including timelines, analytic plans, quotas, development, and deliverables .
• Help compile and analyze data to develop quick turn-around deliverables that are visual, concise, and easily digestible .
• Work across Max 1 st Party data, performing data querying using SQL to identify and profile target audiences, ensuring comprehensive analysis of usage and subscription patterns at both the summarized and individual level .
• Closely work with Data Analytics and CRM team to ensure the robust execution of 1PD surveys.
• Develop strong relationships and maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders and r esearch colleagues .
• Ability to shift focus and priorities based on evolving business needs.
• Help manage vendor relationships, including monitoring adherence to timelines and sample specifications.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required .
• Minimum of 1-3 years primary consumer market research or data analysis experience.
• Ability to leverage SQL to extract and combine disparate data sources.
• Proficiency with at least one of the following: SPSS, Python, Q and/or R or similar statistical analysis software packages. Experience with Looker is a plus.
• Strong quantitative reasoning with programming knowledge using survey software ( e.g. Qualtrics) .
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Integrative thinking and a nalytical problem- solving skills , including the ability to break down data/information into meaningful findings.
• Ability to synthesize information and produce insightful and accurate analyses and
recommendations leading to informed decision-making .
• Be adept at data visualization to tell insights story in a clear and digestible way.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills , English proficiency (verbal and written) and excellent organization skills .
