TECHNICAL MEDIA PROD. (PRIMARY) - WAFF

About WAFF:

WAFF TV is the dominant broadcast station and digital operation in the Tennessee Valley. Huntsville is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.

Job Summary/Description:

WAFF is looking for an Overnight/Morning Shift TMP to work 12 am-8 am. General responsibilities include directing live or pre-recorded productions as assigned, monitoring WAFF's on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs, and ingesting daily programming and commercials.

Prefer skill with Ross Overdrive automation, production video switchers, EMCs, VizRT graphics system, and all supporting equipment in Production/Master Control; including the ability to effectively perform at the following: robotic camera operation, audio operation, commercial/promo ingesting, program ingesting/segmenting, and desktop editing.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be proficient in the performance of all live control room operations and meet all requirements for fast-paced newscast production techniques.
- Successful candidates should be dependable, and organized, be able to multi-task, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work calmly under pressure.
- Flexibility with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts.
- Minimum 1 year of television production experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience preferred.
