Job Summary/Description:

WAFF, Gray Television's NBC affiliate in Huntsville, AL has an immediate opening for a Marketing Producer to join our award winning Creative Services team.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• In this role, you'll put your creative thinking and skills to work to create exciting and emotion-driven advertising and content marketing alongside a creative and dynamic team
• You'll conceptualize, produce, write, edit, and share creative across many channels: TV, social media, cable, radio, and more
• This person will be responsible for the development of cutting edge commercial and promotional spots for the Huntsville market from concept to completion
• This person will be expected to be a team player and take part in all aspects of commercial production
• Must work closely with sales to conceptualize, write, shoot and edit commercials and work with marketing team to assist in the production of station promos, including segments for our daily lifestyle and entertainment show

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Expert visual storyteller with strong writing, producing, shooting and video editing skills
• Previous news marketing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to develop compelling and impactful marketing content for broadcast and digital platforms to promote station programming, talent, coverage and community outreach initiatives
• Possessing strong writing, video production, and non-linear editing and DSLR camera skills
• Proficient videographer and savvy with Adobe Creative Suite
• Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
• Must have a valid drivers license with a clear motor vehicle record
• Experience producing and editing video content
• Social media campaign creation and management experience
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Be detail-oriented, very organized, able to multi-task, and able to works well with tight deadlines
