Job Summary/Description:
The WAFB Creative team is looking for a dynamic Creative Services Producer who excels in marketing. The ideal candidate should be a visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography, and Adobe CC.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• A passion for marketing and the creative process.
• Work well within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Compelling writer with great communication skills. Recognizes how to craft an engaging message focused on the viewer's/client's benefit.
• Basic knowledge of video formats for broadcast and social media.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines, able to adapt to changing deadlines while presenting a calming and confident presence.
• Write/produce/edit commercial production for clients.
• Assist in station-sponsored events when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in commercial production or broadcast media is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience may suffice.
• Advanced skills in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Experience with DSLR cameras and lenses
• Experienced in lighting and directing talent on set and at outside shoots
• Ability to write, shoot, and edit engaging content
• Knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats.
• FAA Drone Certification is a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for varying distances.
• Must have or be able to attain a valid driver's license. Driving record should not have any major convictions, no more than one minor conviction, or a fault accident in the last 3 years.
• Proof of insurance is required.
