WHO WE ARE

Vox Media is the leading modern media company. We guide our audience from discovery to obsession. We inspire essential conversations about what's now, what's next, and what's possible.

As a community of journalists and storytellers, business professionals, creators and technologists, we believe it is a moral and business imperative to amplify voices: to cultivate diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our organization and media. This applies to our candidates, our teams, our storytelling, our creative work, and our platforms, products, and partnerships.

Vox Media's Revenue organization handles advertising and marketing partnerships with brands and agencies, as well as lines of business in consumer revenue and commerce across the organization.

Vox Creative is Vox Media's award winning in-house creative agency focusing on all things content and storytelling. From video, to branding, to audio driven campaigns, we are a full-service content and video production team, that taps into our deep editorial expertise to tell powerful stories for brands. We've worked on a wide range of campaigns from Mailchimp's Mailcrimp campaign where we setup a pop-up hair-crimping shop for men to helping KFC shoot a chicken sandwich into space.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As motion graphics designer on Vox Creative, you'll create animated graphics for video campaigns, that will include content ranging from short form social assets, to graphics packaging for films. You'll work side by side with designers, production partners, creative directors, writers, and editors.

Working at this level, a Senior Motion Graphics designer can create an animation sequence against a creative brief. For example, by manipulating footage and design elements to create an entire end to end main title sequence for a show that strategically addresses the objectives stated in the brief. Senior MG Designers should be able to conceive and pitch of multiple compelling ideas against a brief and consistently sell through and execute those ideas. They are also a trusted voice on their team to help solve design problems as well as be involved in pre-production planning for efficient execution in the post process. Typically Senior Designers at this level possess additional skills such as video editing, compositing, rotoscoping, 3D and sometimes live action direction as well as knowledge in how to maximize efficiency through template development.
