WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Director of Impact Partnerships at Vox Media, you will focus on driving incremental revenue from advertisers seeking to make a positive social and environmental impact with their campaigns.

You will leverage your subject matter expertise and relationships in the impact space to unlock the full potential of clients through a unique blend of premier content offerings, high-value audiences, cutting-edge technology, and a deep product portfolio.

This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to be a true problem solver for clients; not only in the solutions that we develop, but in the way we approach the business, develop partnership structures, and create meaningful value for them.
• Develop new relationships at key clients across agencies, marketing departments, PR/Comms organizations, and impact departments (i.e. heads of sustainability, DEI)
• Drive incremental and diversified revenue streams from these new contacts through innovative impact-oriented offerings and solutions
• Collaborate with other key account support team members and executives to maintain consistent outreach, engagement and education of clients in the space
• Work with Editorial, Vox Creative, Product and Insights and Innovation teams to develop unique offerings, narratives and tactics to drive impact and engagement with partners
• Build and maintain a strong knowledge of Vox Media's advertising products and solutions tied to impact, and become a champion across the organization as well as in the market
• Consistently communicate market feedback as a means of innovating our products and solutions for advertisers
• Support the proposal and media plan process for the demand you are generating, ensuring highly relevant and creative solutions for partners
• Effectively manage a sales pipeline, report on roadblocks and opportunities, and provide accurate forecasting and planning insights

WHO YOU ARE

You are extremely passionate about the practice of business and advertising being used as a force for good in the world. You are a subject matter expert in the advertising and publishing landscape as it ties to Brand Purpose and Impact focused campaigns. You have a diverse, senior list of contacts in the space that you have worked with on multi-channel campaigns.
• 6+ years of digital media experience in a sales or sales support role
• Experience at a leading publisher, technology, or social media platform is preferred; ideally working on brand purpose, CSR and social impact categories
• Strong track record of success, driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, creating new business, and growing and retaining existing business
• Strong negotiation skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency or client
• Strong writing skills to craft presentations
• Strong virtual & in-person presentation skills
• Keen ability to listen & provide a consultative selling approach
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Extremely self-motivated
• Excellent time management skills
• Natural curiosity & never-ending desire to learn
• Passion and knowledge of the online advertising industry
• Willingness to travel as necessary

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
