Vox Media is preparing to hire for an upcoming role on our Integrated Marketing team. While this position is not yet an active opening, we're connecting with candidates now to build a strong pipeline and move quickly when hiring begins.
The role of the Integrated Marketing Director is to partner on advertiser-driven sales and marketing initiatives (strategic proposal creation) across Vox Media Publishing brands. A key member of a client-facing team focused on winning the interest and confidence of our advertisers. This individual develops revenue-generating strategies and programs based on client briefs, data, and insights.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop cross-platform marketing programs that align advertiser objectives with Vox Media's editorial voice, audience insights, and creative capabilities
• Serve as a strategic partner to the Sales organization, contributing to RFP responses, proactive pitches, and client presentations
• Oversee the creation of pitch materials, including decks, concepts, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring clarity, creativity, and strategic rigor
• Collaborate with Editorial and Creative teams to ensure programs are authentic, brand-safe, and editorially aligned
• Partner with Insights & Research to leverage audience data, measurement, and performance learnings
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing integrated marketing team of three
• Stay ahead of industry trends in media, advertising, content, and technology to inform new opportunities and innovation
WHO YOU ARE
• 8+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, media planning, or advertising, preferably within a media or publishing environment
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
• Proven experience developing and selling integrated marketing programs for premium brands
• A presentation pro. Strong Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Photoshop skills are a plus
• Strong understanding of digital media ecosystems, including content, video, social, experiential, and emerging formats
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
• Experience managing and developing teams
• Passion for journalism, culture, and Vox Media's editorial brands
• Bachelor's degree preferred
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This job is located in New York and we require employees in office 3 days per week.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
Pay Range
$130,000 — $135,000 USD
