Job Description
Labor Manager
The Labor Manager will be responsible for overseeing all production labor needs for Volt Lites and Volt Vegas. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, negotiating rates, managing production coordinators and creating reports. This position requires strong attention to detail, great interpersonal relations and the ability to produce results with little to no supervision.
Job Responsibilities
● Oversee crew availability● Develop recruitment, hiring, retention policies for Show Crew
● Oversee crew to client integration and relationships
● Delegate to the Production Coordinators assigning show staff to productions
● Take ownership of Lasso software and maintain relationship with Lasso as avendor
● Oversee travel arrangements for show crew, including per diem and expenses
● Final oversight of show crew timekeeping for payroll processing as input by Coordinators
● Approve labor invoices for AP processing
● Work with the Production Rental Manager and Accounting to reconcile andfinalize projects
● Assist with developing Volt internship opportunities with HR & Director ofOperations
● Assist with developing and providing oversight of the Volt Forward program
● Work with HR to:
○ Develop, implement and maintain labor policies and procedures for the Production Department
○ Develop and implement the crew handbook
○ Interview and recommend new show staff for hire
○ Develop training and development plans for show crew members
● Other duties as assigned
Starting salary for this role is $80,000.
