About the role
We are looking for someone technical to manage our Production Media Asset Management, automation systems, and workflows, at our Burbank office. This individual will work as part of a global team ensuring the smooth running of the Media Supply Chain.
Areas of responsibility
Manage the global Production MAM and automation systems, including installations, upgrades, and day-to-day support via an internal ticketing system
Provide expertise in the identification and evaluation of new workflows, tools and services
Raise and track issues with vendors, providing additional information when needed, and validating solutions when provided
Create, run, and maintain scripts and test plans covering the testing of company functionality during the upgrade of internal systems
Work closely with operations management to understand use case automation opportunities

Essential skills
Experience in Media Asset Management, Media workflows, automation systems and techniques
Familiar with audio and video technical specifications, codec, framerate, aspect ratio, etc.
Experience with writing scripts, BASH, Python, Ruby, etc.
Working knowledge of in APIs, Metadata, XML and XSLT
Administrator level knowledge of various operating systems
Desirable skills
Familiar with Film and TV industry
Working knowledge of computer components
Familiar Telestream Vantage, Aspera and Signiant
Experience of help desk software
