The VP, Brand Strategy serves as a senior leader across North America who is responsible for creating, overseeing, and implementing the monetization strategy and growth of the VMG brands. Key responsibilities include directly identifying and developing editorially driven opportunities for VMG to extend its brand identity and consumer touchpoints offline in addition to online, creating a 360 brand experience for our audience. The VP, Brand Strategy must possess a deep understanding of the cross section between editorial and commercial and be able to serve as a bridge between internal stakeholders and clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Leadership of the NAM vision and editorial monetization strategy for VMG. Identifying and implementing the growth strategy across North America in partnership with the North America Editorial and Commercial leads.
• Spearheading the B2B positioning of the VMG portfolio by working with the relevant stakeholders (audience & editorial) to catalyze VMG's revenue growth.
• Responsible for driving and developing relationships with key strategic partners to drive new revenue streams and editorial products. Developing, executing and managing large scale, tactical partnerships with publishers, talent and brands that are aligned to VMG brands.

You have These:
• 10+ year's direct experience in the media industry
• First class networking skills, a self-starter who is able to work independently yet be part of a focused global team.
• Commercial nous, and negotiation skills.
• Media and content experience at a senior level.
• Experience in strategy, leadership & team building and business development.
• The ability to stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends across media and marketing
• Proven ability to lead & grow an organization in a high-energy, results-focused environment.
• A high-performance focus, solid work ethic and a very hands-on nature.
• A clear passion and energy for business.
• Solid written/verbal communication & presentation skills.
• Impeccable personal integrity and business ethics.
• Gravitas and exceptional management skills.
• An understanding that you have to make things happen yourself and manage the business to make sure you achieve your own objectives.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work on his/her own initiative.

Pay Range Details:

New York/California: 190,000 - 205,000 USD
