We are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Editor to help us deliver high-quality content across all channels. As part of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading social media content and supervising design layouts on a daily basis.

In this role, you will collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and implement efficient tools to maintain our brand voice across all publishing channels. You will also assist our Social Publisher with creating social media strategies and managing the publishing social media calendar.
Our ideal candidate is a social media expert with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. You must be familiar with the latest social media trends, newly established networks, and social media marketing tools, such as Hootsuite, and Sprinklr. A firm grasp of SEO and social media analytics is essential to succeed in this role, while prior experience working for a marketing agency is a plus.

JAX is a joint venture between VICE and MBC Group. JAX Media's primary directive is to create a leading platform for quality digital Arabic language content centred on modern culture anchored in Saudi Arabia. While this role will focus on the delivery of the JAX Media proposition, it should also support and responsibly represent VICE's growing presence in KSA more broadly.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pitch engaging and watchable Stories concepts that align with current culture trends
• Produce, write, and edit original content for social channels
• Collaborate with the editorial and marketing team to brainstorm strategies and create engaging social media content
• Strategize imagery and write copy for show tiles across to optimise number of unique viewers
• Request, review and provide feedback for video reversions to social shows
• Ideate and create content across Stories platforms (ie: YouTube Shorts, IGS, TikTok, Snap, etc)
