Role x Team
The Audience Development team drives strategic operations which help us grow our audience, build the brand - and help VICE to diversify its revenue streams. This team sits within the Publishing department, collaborating with departments from across VICE Media Group's brand portfolio in order to drive growth.
Role x You
The Senior Audience Development Associate is responsible for supporting audience growth strategies across channels. You will drive our relationships with syndication partners through regular pitching, help increase the impact of our reporting through regular analysis, find new ways to reach underserved and incremental audiences with VMG content and help us establish content tent poles and key brand initiatives with cross-platform promotional campaigns.
In the short term…
• You will become familiar with VICE's brand, its teams and its audience development strategy for 2022
After 6 months in this role…
• You will have taken on daily syndication pitches, email acquisition activity, and you will be regularly contributing to regular reporting initiatives
And after a year…
• You will be driving key campaign success through successfully activating campaigns with multiple components, including social distribution, paid activation and reporting
Responsibilities
• Leading syndication pitches to new distribution platforms, established media brands and other partners
• Activation of VICE's newsletter and messaging output. Support email acquisition activity, monitor the overall health of the newsletter program and provide regular reporting to the team.
• Paid media activation across social channels, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram
• Contributing to weekly and monthly meetings to deliver content and campaign performance insights to key stakeholders
• Activation of campaign initiatives, including publishing of content, activation of paid media and support on reporting
• Assistance on other key Publishing initiatives including multi-platform growth strategies
You have these:
• 2+ years experience
• Analytical mindset, detail oriented, experience of interpreting data
• Confident Excel and Google Doc skills
• Strong use of Google Analytics and social platform analytics
• Superb organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team
• Results driven
We'd love if you also have:
• Experience of Domo/ Data visualisation platforms

New York/California: 68,000 - 90,000 USD
