VICE x Team

Based in our London office, the Finance department play a busy and vital role within the VICE Media Group.

Role x You

As our Senior Accountant, you will work with Finance Director to assist with the month end reporting, audit, filing of tax returns and ad hoc work.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the month end process, including associated journals at month end.
• Assist in creating and submitting monthly/quarterly reporting within deadlines including
• detailed analysis and commentary on variances.
• Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of action items.
• Weekly cash flow submission, overseeing the work of the Accounts Payable and Receivables team.
• Overseeing weekly payments run process.
• Supporting payroll process (accounting and recharges)
• Managing intercompany, dealing with open queries, preparing reconciliation for year-end close and audit.
• Responsible for VAT return
• Fixed Assets Ledger maintenance, including review of system depreciation calculations, impairment testing, disposals and reporting.
• Support the team lead in delivering the year-end audit (Group & Statutory)

You have these
• IHK-certified "Bilanzbuchhalter/in"
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Very good knowledge in German VAT law
• Microsoft Office Suite mandatory and strong Excel skills
• NetSuite experience desired
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Positive, proactive and practical attitude

• NetSuite/Salesforce/Concur experience highly desired
