Production Supervisor, Global Unscripted Development (A Production Services Position)
Overview of Role

Working in the Production team across all non-fiction development on behalf of PULSE Films and VICE Studios, ensuring the deliverables for each project, series, special or film, stays on schedule and within budget, while managing the administrative requirements and objectives of the role.

The role of Supervising Development Producer works within the production unit at VICE Studios, overseeing the production of each development project, working in collaboration with the creative teams on the unscripted slate. Working across multiple projects and territories, the role will manage production budgets, post production, contracted deliverables and final cost reports, overseeing all administrative aspects of our development pipeline for the Unscripted Studio team.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the output of development projects across budget, schedule and workflow, facilitating clear and frequent communication across the team
• Oversee the production development workflow which ensures a seamless transition from development to production, working in coordination with creative leads and EIC's
• Evaluate creative briefs to assess and assign the cost of production, from deck builds to sizzle reels and demo tapes, creating production budget, schedule and deliverables
• Implement the production resources to support the project, including utilizing in-house resources and hiring crew as required
• Assess strategic opportunities for cost savings and creative workflow
• Track all projects across slate and allotted budgets
• Track all staffing across development, ensuring smart use of resources
• Provide weekly production status report on the development slate
• Provide variance and cost reports against each project
• Present possible solutions to any production delay or setback
• Ensure desired quality and style each development project is met within the parameters of the schedule and budget
• Attend and contribute to all relevant production meetings
• Communicate regularly with key creatives regarding status of work
• Build global industry contacts to facilitate and diverse slate of creative resources

Qualifications and Experience
• 5 – 7 years supervisory production experience, having worked across development of original content in a production environment
• A comprehensive understanding of production management and unscripted production
• Strong financial literacy with preferred knowledge of Greenslate and PMI
• Expertise in Excel, Google Documents
• Knowledge and experience working with and sourcing vendors
• Experience working on tight deadlines
• Experience in dealing with global partners - LatAm, UK in particular
• Highly organized, excellent communication skills

Pay Range Details:

New York/California: 95,000 - 120,000 USD
