Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Client Partner with great connections and strong partnerships contacts to join our growing Experiential Division. We are looking for someone who has worked in event and experiential sales and/or media sales at a like-minded company. This position reports directly to the VP, Experiential, and the SVP, VMG Branded Studio
• Manage client relationships through a consultative process and devise strategies accordingly with Experiential Creative, Integrated Marketing, and Production teams
• Required to hit quarterly personal and team revenue goals through brand-driven sales and integrated partnerships with experiential being the leading goal
• Serve as the pod leader for all partnership packages related to VMG O&O event series (29Rooms, Noisey Nights, Unbothered Live, Munchies Kitchen), as well as co-brand and white label experiential opportunities
• Manage all pipeline and inbound RFP and RFI
• Put together a pipeline of new business opportunities and pro-actively outreach to clients
• Handle inbound top-level requests alongside VP, Experiential
• Work hand in hand with experiential team partners to ensure clients are happy
• Forecast and report on yearly and quarterly revenue
• Inform the team of pipeline progress on a weekly basis
• Create a bottom-up and path to goal, focusing on key accounts that drive the business forward
• Deliver partnerships that drive the department to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals/objectives in conjunction with the media sales team
• Understand client business objectives challenges to inform ways our team can provide unique value to brand partners
• Develop and deliver and create proposals that result in successful partnerships with a focus on creative, solutions-oriented, and on budget recommendations
• Provide marketplace feedback to inform business strategy through deep knowledge and understanding of the market, client needs, and industry trends
• Create best-in-class presentation and pitch materials along with our design team

You should have/be...
• 7+ years experience in sales with a proven record of exceeding revenue goals
• An understanding of how experiential works within a media environment; past work integrating media strategy into experiential offerings
• Strong client relationships and an ability to independently build a large pipeline of outbound leads which result in closed business
• Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to win
• Ability to take ownership and work independently to meet aggressive performance goals
• An outstanding professional record of achievement
• Excellent and persuasive communication skills, including an ability to create and deliver convincing arguments verbally and in writing
• Strong understanding of the experiential environment and how partnerships work within company O&O events as well as stand-alone (white label and co-brand) partnerships
• Strong interpersonal skills and strength in building lasting relationships internally and externally
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, and scrappy environment
• Must possess strong organizational, email, and analytical skills
• Must have a strong understanding of pipeline management
