Job Description
FP&A Manager, Digital International (12 Month FTC)

Role x You

The role will be the key 'go to' person for the Global Monthly Operating Review (''MOR'') file, and all historic performance in given territories. Will also be responsible for providing general financial planning and analysis support for the Digital Line of Business across the International territories.

Key Responsibilities

MOR
• Drive the MOR process, with Global FP&A leads, and NAM counterpart, developing the quality of the report and bringing presentation into agreed worldwide format
• Take responsibility for numeric data provided, both financial and non-financial
• Provide analysis and explanation of component parts of the European MOR and i-D Global MOR, helping to create and present MOR decks to business leads
• Work with Accounting team and dept leads to ensure accurate reporting, and consistent posting
• Establish PID framework for Digital International markets, and be central point of contact for all PID queries
• Perform reconciliation of Salesforce, Netsuite and Boostr data monthly
• Provide Margin analysis by project for International markets
• Automate process wherever possible, working with IT and GROA on continuous program of improvement

Revenue and Pipeline Analysis
• Work with FP&A leads to establish consistent view of revenue and pipeline data across the International territory
• Work with the regional heads to ensure their understanding of the data, and providing local context where necessary
• Develop full understanding of reporting systems and differences between reporting of data from those systems (Netsuite, Domo, Salesforce)
• Work with markets to ensure budgets and forecasts are stretching but realistic, and that commercial teams have full understanding of pacing
• Provide Agency and client planning analysis as required

Cost and Margin Analysis
• Work with the dept heads to ensure their understanding of current and historic content / OOP spend, and tracking against budget
• Provide insight into spend trends and feedback to teams
• Analyse margin data and feedback to commercial teams, supporting Accounting teams and support teams in keeping data accurate and transparent

Treasury / Transactional Support
• Work with Accounts Payable and Treasury to help prioritise and manage expectations of team in respect of high priority or urgent payments
• Work with and support the dept heads and team to ensure POs are accurately created in a timely manner
• Help commercial teams to understand project and financial framework for cross-regional deals and necessary interco set up
• Provide financial support for new digital business development / growth initiatives

Planning & budgeting
• Work with FP&A leads to build and maintain a long term financial model
• Assist the FP&A lead with digital LOB budgeting and planning process management
• Create the Digital section of all budget/forecast presentations, working with the Digital LOB leads and the Finance Director

• I-D reporting – Global

Required skills and experience
• 5-10 years' experience, predominantly within a digital publishing environment
• Either a mix of FP&A and Financial Control experience, or experience in an investment or professional services firm
• Experience building complex 'whole company' financial models preferred
• Detailed understanding of digital revenue modelling
• Positive, proactive, outgoing attitude
• Strong work ethic
• High degree of intellectual curiosity
• Strong emotional intelligence and effective interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel skills
