Als Producer im Editorial-Team erschaffst du auf mehreren Plattformen Geschichten, die wirklich etwas bewegen. In dieser zukunftsorientierten Rolle setzt du auf eine Kombination aus journalistischer Sorgfältigkeit und dem genauen Verständnis einer Publishing-Strategie, bei der Social Media an erster Stelle steht. Als kreativer Kopf kannst du hier neu definieren, was eine VICE-Story alles sein kann – sowohl auf der Website als auch an anderen Stellen.

What you'll do
• Pitch and create text and image-based content for VICE's social channels
• Devise and execute series tailored to specific social media platforms
• Host and/or produce short-form vertical videos
• Innovate new forms of direct audience interaction to facilitate further content
• Work closely with the Editorial Director to drive audience loyalty on and off-platform
• Work closely with the Social Editor to drive growth and engagement
• Accompany editorial staff to events and interviews when necessary
• Pitch, create and adapt reported articles, as and when required

• Du pitchst und erstellst text- und bildbasierten Content für die Social-Media-Kanäle von VICE
• Du entwickelst und setzt Formate um, die auf bestimmte Social-Media-Plattformen zugeschnitten sind
• Du moderierst und/oder produzierst kurze Videos im Hochformat
• Du erschaffst neue Möglichkeiten der direkten Audience-Interaktion, um weiteren Content zu fördern
• Du arbeitest eng mit der Chefredaktion zusammen, um die Audience-Bindung auf und abseits unserer Plattform zu stärken
• Du arbeitest eng mit dem Social-Team zusammen, um Audience-Wachstum und -Interaktion voranzubringen
• Du begleitest, wenn es nötig ist, das Editorial-Team zu Veranstaltungen und Interviews
• Du pitchst, erstellst und passt Artikel an, wenn es nötig ist

What you'll have
• 3+ years of experience as a storyteller (journalist, editor, video producer)
• Experience as a content creator or social media manager/social editor
• A knack for transforming articles and long-form videos into socials-first content
• Curiosity about how traditional journalism adapts to new technologies
• The flexibility to work as part of a global team
• A firm grasp on platform trends as they relate to youth culture
• An understanding of the VICE brand, in terms of both visuals and voice
• Basic Photoshop and video editing skills
• A cool head under pressure

Deine Fähigkeiten
• Du hast mindestens drei Jahre Erfahrung im Journalismus, im redaktionellen Bereich oder in der Videoproduktion
• Du hast Erfahrung in der Content-Kreation oder im Social-Media-Management
• Du hast ein Geschick dafür, Artikel und längere Videos in Social-Media-Content umzuwandeln
• Dich interessiert, wie sich der traditionelle Journalismus an neue Technologien anpasst
• Du bist flexibel und hast Lust, in einem globalen Team zu arbeiten
• Du weißt genau, welche Trends es gerade auf welchen Plattformen gibt und wie sie mit der Jugendkultur zusammenspielen
• Du identifizierst dich mit der Marke VICE – sowohl optisch als auch inhaltlich
• Du besitzt grundlegende Fähigkeiten in Sachen Photoshop und Videobearbeitung
• Du bleibst auch in stressigen Situationen die Ruhe in Person
